Ethane (C2H6):

Pure Ethane is a colourless, odourless, flammable, non-toxic gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Used as a refrigerant when extremely low temperatures are required, and also as a raw material in the production of halogenated ethanes

Methane (CH4):

Methane is a colourless, flammable, non-toxic gas and is the first member of the paraffin series of hydrocarbons. Used in the testing of gas appliances, and as a raw material in the production of ethanol and methyl chloride. High purity Methane is burned to form high quality carbon black, which is used in a variety of electronic components

n-Butane (C4H10):

n-Butane is a colourless, flammable at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, relatively non-toxic gas with a characteristic natural gas odour. n-Butane in its purest form is used for the calibration of instruments, and also as an intermediate in the manufacture of aviation fuel.

Ethylene (C2H4):

Pure Ethylene is a colourless, odourless, flammable, non-toxic gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Used for fruit ripening and in the manufacture of polyethylene & polystyrene.
